Statement
My work is born of collisions and alignments. From a glance out the bus window in an unfamiliar city, to a more sustained contemplation through my own parted curtains, I combine moments of vision that reflect the disorienting randomness of a shared world while revealing the reassuring personal connections that keep us grounded. I look for the small parts that make the whole. My studio is the place where visual associations begin, vibrate, rattle, and resolve. Where the unnoticed is examined, the familiar is seen, and the margins are mined for the meanings that collect there.
